Terms of membership.
The short version: you pay $49 a month, you get the community, you can leave whenever you like. The longer version is below, written so a person can read it.
Who this is between
These terms are between you and The Modern AI Professional, run by Shanan. They cover the membership sold at modernprofessional.ai. AI implementation work for businesses is covered by a separate written agreement, not by this page.
What you get
A membership gives you a seat on the weekly community call, the members' library of one-sheets and recordings, and the ability to ask questions that get answered on the call without your name attached if you prefer. The library grows over time and the content will change. We do not promise a fixed number of calls, sheets or recordings, and we may reschedule a call when life happens. If a scheduled call is cancelled outright, the recording of the next one goes up as usual and the month is not extended.
What it costs
$49 a month, charged to your card by Stripe on the day you join and on the same day each month after that. Prices can change. If the price ever goes up, you will get at least 30 days' notice by email before your card is charged the new amount, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling
You can cancel from your account page in one click, any time, no call and no questions. When you cancel, your access ends right away and you are not charged again. There is no partial refund for the rest of the month. That keeps it fair for everyone who stays.

Your account
A membership is for one person. Please do not share your login, and please do not post recordings or one-sheets publicly or hand them around at work. If you want to bring a team, email us and we will sort out seats. We can close an account that is being shared or used to copy the library, with a refund of the current month.
Questions and recordings
Calls are recorded and the recordings go into the members' library. If you ask a question on a call or through the question form, it may be answered on the recording. Ask anonymously if you would rather your name stay out of it, and it will. If you would like something you said removed from a recording, email us and we will cut it.
What we are and are not
The Modern AI Professional teaches how to use AI tools well. It is not legal, financial, medical or professional advice for your situation, and the tools themselves are made by other companies whose terms and prices we do not control. Check anything that matters before you act on it. That is, in fact, one of the things we teach.
Being decent
The community works because people ask honest questions without being made to feel small for it. We will remove anyone who makes it unsafe or unkind for others, with a refund of the current month.
The legal bit
The membership is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the issue came up. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email members before the change takes effect.
